content has always been a means to an end for marketers, and usually not quite what real people want. but seo is a system we've all agreed upon, so, historically, it's been a good enough vehicle for marketing. but we think we can do better. as a civilization.

the concept of marketing content was always built on a core concept: you want to know something, so you search, and companies with something to sell serve you their webpages. someone's always there to cash the check for your curiosity.

we're not here to create "content"; we're here to solve problems.

i'm sorry to say our kpi isn't your site traffic, or your conversions, or your backlink profile. our kpi is knowledge. the traffic, the conversions, the links, the revenue — all your kpis come after.

if you want results, you have to start at the core of human experience, and at their core, most humans aren't really interested in what you're offering. maybe they will be one day, but only if you can solve their problem, answer their question, make them laugh. we're committed to doing those things more thoughtfully, more artfully, more satisfyingly than anyone else.

 

if we don't think we can do that, we won't waste your time.

we're here to do more than optimize for search — we're her to create answers, to build something, to feed the knowledge engines on which the world relies.

we don't want to sell you anything. if you're looking for a vendor that wants to sell itself to you, that's cool — it's just not going to be us. we want to work with people who want to work with us, who get what we're doing, who want to work with people who get what they're doing. if you're as committed as we are to cutting the bullshit and doing something actually useful, we're listening.
